Magsafe2 power supplies have 3 faults:
1) the charger cord peels and frays, especially near the connector.
2) The charger completely stops working and the orange indicator does not light up when connected.
3) The MacBook runs on the charger, but the battery does not charge or only charges when turned off (lack of power).

Please note that the charging indicator light is controlled by the laptop’s power controller. If the light is not green or orange and is turned off, this does not mean that the charger is not producing voltage. Check on another computer or visit our service center. Any checks are free.
